Unfortunately, we had to cancel our February meeting, due to the inclement weather. There are, however, several garden-related events to keep you busy until our March meeting.

Linda Beutler, Portland, Oregon, author and President of the International Clematis Society, on "All the Best Plants are Buttercups" and "Vertical Gardening: the Veritable Vastness of Vines"

 big spring event for Northwest gardeners. Display gardens, great list of speakers, plant sales (and free phytosanitary certification for Canadians to ensure you can get your purchases back across the border.)

SEEDY SATURDAY AT VANDUSEN BOTANICAL GARDEN

NEXT GRANDVIEW GARDEN CLUB MEETING : THURSDAY, MARCH 9, 2017

Two of our members will share their expertise:

Valerie Gray will talk to us about Osteo-Arthritis and Ergonomic Aids for Gardeners 
Strategies to reduce pain and remain active
while gardening if you have OA... and generally for all gardeners.

She'll talk about knees, back,
hands. Joint-protection principles,
pacing, equipment, garden set-up, and assistive devices.

Michael Kluckner will address The Vegetable Garden in Early Spring
Assessing winter damage, recovery measures, best varieties for early sowing.
